Bitwarden Checkup
Make sure everything is setup properly:
- Bitwarden Password: Physically written down on one or more than one a piece of paper kept in either wallet, or preferably with passport/will etc. It should not exist in electronic form: no pictures, notes, contact notes, text documents, Word processor documents etc.
- Have the password to the email address you use with Bitwarden documented
- Setup Emergency Access with someone else with Bitwarden
- Reviewed saved passwords for compromised passwords in use?
Optional Annual Best Practice
Export your password vault once a year as an encrypted json with the same password as your Bitwarden Vault
Settings > Vault > Export Vault
Optional Extra Password Manager security
- Add a Two Step Login. Keep in mind how to login if that 2FA process is lost.
